The Story Thus Far

_{This will just be a quick background and update on what is going on for people new to the site or someone that was absent
during a major plot development. I will try to make the story short sweet and to the point here. The original Kingdom Hearts
Story does not belong to me or anyone else here. If you have played Kingdom hearts you can skip the first two paragraphs.}

The universe is made up of three different realms, the Realm of Darkness, the Realm of light and the Realm of In Between. Most of us live in the Realm of Light, but there are strange creatures of Darkness that are able to use a Corridor through the Realm of Darkness to travel from one world to the next. These are the Heartless, hearts that have been taken in completely by darkness, and Nobodies, the empty shells strong hearts leave behind when becoming a Heartless. The Keyblade, a weapon existing only in the realm of Light and In Between is the only thing that can destroy this darkness. In the Realm of Darkness exists Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds and if you can control it you can control everything. It is made of pure light but resides in a Realm of pure darkness, how can an one ever own it?

Years ago a conflict aroused when the Keyblade wielders of the Light and the Darkness clashed with each other to create the χ-blade and, with it, control Kingdom Hearts. The war itself was so massive in scope, that worlds that were not originally involved were drawn into the conflict. Many Keyblade Wielders died leaving only a Kayblade Graveyard to remind people to never try such a thing again. That did not stop the fool hardy. Again people tried to take Kingdom Hearts, first was an apprentice of Ansem whose heart fell into darkness leaving both a strong Nobody and a strong Heartless. First to folly was the Heartless, able to get close enough to touch Kingdom Hearts but its light burned away all his darkness leaving nothing. Second to fall was the Nobody, this time cleansed by a Keyblade Wielder names Sora and his friend and fellow wielder Riku.

After that they believed the worlds were once again safe, and returned home. But all was not well and again someone from the darkness was playing puppeteer. Heartless and Nobodies are growing in number again. King Mickey has asked for the help of Sora and Riku to train new keyblade wielders, as was done in the past. They have returned to the original home of Keyblade wielders, Castle Oblivion, to house and train new hero's to keep the darkness in check. Because Riku has tasted the Darkness for himself he offers his help to those keyblade chosen who have difficulty controlling the darkness in their hearts. Sora, Riku and Kairi stay at Castle Oblivion training and lending help when needed.

While the wielders of Light train the forces shadowed in darkness have begun their plan, there will always be those people who wish to take control. Now there are no major organizations to keep them at bay letting any minor villain that wants to come forth and try their hand. While others want things to go back to how it was, were all they want is peace and quiet. They may be Heartless and Nobody, but they are not evil just as wielding the greatest weapon of light does not make you good.
